Over the last few years, we have seen a tremendous amount of progress and new development in our city. Once again however, the naysayers in our community want to put a stop to that progress and leave our city in the past. Their latest effort would kill all forms of passenger rail transit in the city, including trains and light rail.
In Cincinnati, we have a proud tradition of thinking big and tackling innovative projects that transform our city and benefit future generations. I am proud to be the Chairman of Cincinnatians for Progress, a group of dedicated individuals who embrace that tradition.
Along with thousands of supporters from neighborhoods across the City, we are leading the drive to defeat the proposed Charter amendment that would put up a roadblock to future progress and hurt future economic growth in our city.
I hope that you will join our efforts to keep Cincinnati moving forward.
